Hello Oak Grove Community,

I am a proud alumni of Davidson County Schools.  I graduated from Central Davidson High School, with one of my greatest memories playing varsity basketball.  After earning my education degree from High Point University, I taught at Central Middle School.  I returned to High Point University and earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership.  Then, I became Assistant Principal at Brown Middle School for two years.  After marriage, I relocated to Lake Norman and served as an Assistant Principal at Woodland Heights Elementary School and then at Cloverleaf Elementary.  My husband and I returned to Davidson County and I taught 4th grade at Silver Valley for two years and was named Teacher of the Year.  I was named Assistant Principal at Oak Grove Middle School in 2013.  It is my pleasure to be serving my third year with the students and staff at Oak Grove Middle School.

Oak Grove Middle School has dedicated teachers who provide the best education for their students offering best practices in their classroom.  Our staff works collaboratively to analyze data and then plan remediation as well as enrichment activities.  We aim for all students to be ready for the transition to high school and be college ready.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns regarding the transportation for your child.  The safety of all students is our top priority; therefore, we are proud to have bus drivers who maintain bus safety procedures each and every day.
