23 - Davidson Co. High School Marching Band Showcase - @ OGHS - 5:30-9:00pm (Optional attendance for OGMS Band Students - Come check out the marching bands from all of our county high schools and support your own OGHS Sound of Grizzly Pride)

October

8 - Early Release Day

20 - Teacher Workday - No School

22 - All-County Band Auditions Registration Deadline - 3:05pm (Participating 7th & 8th Grade Band Members)

27 - All-County Band Auditions - East Davidson High School - 4:00-7:30pm (Participating 7th & 8th Grade Band Members)

November

11 - Vetrans Day Holiday - No School

17 - All-County Band Rehearsal - Lexington High/Middle School - 3:30-8:30pm (Qualifying 7th & 8th Grade Band Members)

18 - All-County Band Rehearsal - Lexington High/Middle School - 8:30-3:30pm (Qualifying 7th & 8th Grade Band Members)

18 - All-County Band Concert - Lexington High School Auditorium - 7:00-8:30pm - Free Admission for any that wish to attend

Eleven OGMS Band Members Qualify For All-Distirct Band

Eleven students from the OGMS Band were selected by audition for membership in all-district band. Oak Grove has the most all-district band members of any middle school in Davidson County!
The all-district band concert will be held in Brindle Recital Hall on the campus of Wake Forest University on Saturday, February 28th at 2:00pm.
