Welcome to my webpage!
I have been teaching for 25 years in various positions. I have a BA in Education and Special Education. I have taught as an Exceptional Children's teacher at Tyro Middle School for four years. I also taught 5th grade at Wallburg Elementary for six years. I took a short hiatus, taught preschool, and then decided to return and teach at Oak Grove Middle School. This 2024-2025 school year is my 7th year at Oak Grove Middle School, and I am very excited to be in the 8th grade.
My mission statement aligns with Davidson County Schools: "The Davidson County Schools EC department's mission is to strive to work as a collaborative team to serve and advocate for students with disabilities by providing individualized instruction in the least restrictive environment so that students can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and vocationally."
