Grading Policy
Grading Policies - Math 8
There shall be a minimum number of grades in the following categories each grading period:
*Major Works (50%) - 3
*Minor Works (30%) - 3
*Classwork/Homework (20%) - 4
(Assignments turned in after the due date will have a 20-point deduction.)
**Major Works: tests, projects,
**Minor Works: quizzes, group activities
Grading Policies - Math 1
*Major Works (60%) - 3
*Minor Works (40%) - 8
(Math 1 students will take the Math 1 EOC at the end of the year - this exam counts for 20% of the final average)
**Major Works: tests, projects
**Minor Works: classwork, homework, quizzes
(Assignments turned in after the due date will have a 20-point deduction.)

A = 100-90
B = 89-80
C = 79-70
D = 69-60
