Grading Policy

Grading Policies - Math 8
There shall be a minimum number of grades in the following categories each grading period:
*Major Works (40%) - 3
*Minor Works (35%) - 4
*Class/Homework (25%) - 5
(Students shall not receive a 0 for turning in late assignments. However, a 10-point deduction will result in each day the assignment is late.)
 
**Major Works: tests, projects,
**Minor Works: classwork, homework, quizzes 
 
 
 
Grading Policies - Math 1
***Grade 8 Math 1 will follow the high school percentages.***
*Major Works (60%) - 3
*Minor Works (40%) - 10
(Math 1 students will take the Math 1 EOC at the end of the year - this exam counts for 20% of the final average)

B = 89-80
C = 79-70
