About Me
Hello, my name is Jonathan Dry and this is my second year teaching at Oak Grove Middle School. I'm excited to be teaching 6th grade with the Polar Bear Team! We will cover ancient cultures and civilizations in 6th grade Social Studies. If there is anything I can help with, feel free to reach out!
I have lived in the Midway/Lexington area all my life. I graduated from North Davidson High School then UNC Greensboro in 2020 with a B.A. in History. I have a passion for studying the American Revolution and the American Civil War.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our dog named Goose. I love basketball and I am an avid Charlotte Hornets and UNC basketball fan. I am also the current assistant football coach and assistant basketball coach here at OGMS. I'm so happy to be a part of the OGMS family, Go Grizzlies!
