Brandi Porter

Welcome to Mrs. Porter's ELA Class!
I am so excited to be starting my 7th year at Oak Grove Middle School.
I am originally from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I attended Appalachian State University for my bachelor's and master's degrees in Middle Grades Education, with concentrations in language arts and social studies. In 2013, I completed my certification in Gifted Education from High Point University.
I also have a post master's certificate in school administration from University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
I believe that it is my great passion for learning that has inspired me to be a teacher, and I hope to cultivate that in your child throughout the school year!
