Welcome to Mrs. Skeen's 7th Grade Social Studies Class
Welcome to 7th Grade! I am honored to help students learn, lend a hand in their education, and promote enthusiasm for Social Studies. I want everyone to have the best possible environment to succeed.
I am originally from Canton, Georgia. We moved to Lexington, NC, and made it our home in 2007. I am blessed to be married to my husband, Thompson, who also teaches in Davidson County. Our life includes two wonderful boys, Tre and Drew.
This will be my 22nd year of teaching. I received my bachelor's degree from The University of Georgia in Secondary Education Social Sciences. I went on to receive my master's degree from Piedmont College in Social Science Education. I am a huge Georgia Bulldog fan!! I love to spend time with my family and friends.
