Welcome to Mrs. Skeen's 7th Grade Social Studies Class
Welcome to 7th Grade! I am honored to help students learn, lend a hand in their education, and promote enthusiasm for Social Studies. I want everyone to have the best possible environment to succeed.
I am originally from Canton, Georgia. We moved to Lexington, NC, and made it our home in 2007. I am blessed to be married to my husband, Thompson, who also teaches in Davidson County. Our life includes two wonderful boys, Tre and Drew.
This will be my 24th year of teaching. I received my bachelor's degree in Secondary Education Social Sciences from The University of Georgia. I received my master's degree in Social Science Education from Piedmont College. I am a huge Georgia Bulldog fan!! I love to spend time with my family and friends.
